We have to go beyond human reasoning to catch a glimpse of the Love and  Goodness of God. We don’t have a reference point in this life where we can measure Gods love and goodness towards us.  The verse in Ephesians 3:20 ” Him who is able to do exceeding abundantly above all we ask or think”  shows me that if I want to get closer to Him I have to commune with God in a different way, a higher way, greater then asking and thinking.  My  mind cannot catch up with Gods goodness and Love for me.   It has been my desire in prayer lately to find ways to contact Gods heart  in ways deeper and more clear then anything my natural senses can manage. It is like a new born baby who cannot communicate with words, can not understand language, but can find his or her mothers heart by the mothers touch, the way she holds him, and the tone of  her voice.  We know that as that new born grows and gets older the contact with his mother increases, it is not only limited to touch, and tone of voice, but increases to language. I feel this is the same with God our Father. As we have become new born babes in Christ we grew on the sincere milk of His word, we have the ability to see Him through the things he has created (Nature), we can see and hear Him through other people anointed by Him, but I am finding out that in the Spirit, I CAN KNOW HIM. In the Gospel of John 17:3 ” this is eternal life that they may KNOW You the only true  God and Jesus Christ who you have sent”  Eternal life is not just living forever, for all humans are going to live forever, some will be living with the Father and Jesus, and some with the devil, but this type of life Jesus is talking about is defined by the statement “This is eternal life, THAT THEY MAY KNOW YOU, that word Know is a relationship and intimate word, it is like when Adam knew Eve in Gen 4:1 and they had a son Cain. There is a place in God, an intimate place, we can enter into, where we can KNOW Him, My Quest is to find this place. Jesus spoke much about this divine one relationship,  in the same 17 chapter of John verse 21, Jesus says ” That they all may be one, as You Father are in Me, and I in You, that  they also may be one in Us” This Divine oneness, this KNOWING, I am convinced is that next step or place of intimacy our loving heavenly Father and Jesus is drawing us into. So I am going to stop resisting, and submit to the God of the entire universe who saw me, fell in love with me, pursued me, and now wants to have an eternal life relationship with me. I don’t know about you but I AM TAKEN.

The more I read God’s word  the more I see that from Gods view point what is real is not always what we can see.  In Heb 11:3 Paul states that “By faith we understand that the WORLDS ( everything we see) were framed by the word of God so that the things which are seen were made out of things which are not seen” We see here that everything we see came from the heart of a unseen being, GOD. Wow, that is cool, we also know that every-time God spoke in the account of creation in Genesis the things He said happened, when God said “Let here be light” Light was created. When God speaks it’s creative, when Men speak its discriptive (Man describes things already created). In Mans world we have words that describe already created things, But in God’s world the Word is first,  once spoken by God creates the thing. So when is something made real, is it when we see it, or is it when God says it? I Believe the Apostle Paul’s reveals this to us in Hebrews 11:1- “Now Faith is the Substance of Things hope for the evidence of things not seen” Here we see  that Faith (which comes by hearing & hearing GODS WORDS Romans 10:17) is what gives substance to things we hope for, it is the evidence or proof that the thing exists even though it is NOT SEEN. Wow again, our faith is the proof that Not Seen things exist. If we can not see them then where are they? They are unseen realities in the realm of the Spirit where God is waiting for our faith to give substance to them so we can see them here in this tangle world. I just said a lot of stuff just then, go back and re-read it again.  How do I know they are real but unseen, because if God has said it and everything God says happens, it must be created even if I do not see it. Now a verse like “We walk by Faith and not by sight make sense, there is sooooo much more in the realm of the kingdom were God has Dominion then what we can see with our natural eyes, God has given us His word to show us the vastness of both the seen and unseen parts of His Kingdom. The Nicene Creed states “We believe in God the Father maker of heaven and earth of ALL that is SEEN and UNSEEN, God is the God of the unseen as well as the seen . You might say, that is just down right dumb, but Gods word talks much about the unseen, take heaven for example, it is a real place isn’t it even though we cannot see it, He talks about the Holy Spirit, Angels, were two or three are gather together in Jesus name He is in our mist, even though we cannot see all these things. Walking by Faith and not by sight is like flying a airplane using the instruments only, even though your natural senses may be telling you one thing,  the instruments will keep you on course because the instruments were designed to take into account things the senses can not.  So begin today to look at Gods word as doors into the unseen, revealing to us what is possible, what’s in Gods heart, what is real.

I am sensing more and more we are in a moment in time were God is pouring out a revelations of the possibility of  stepping out of the  realm of the Seen  into the realm of the  unseen were God lives. The Nicene creed states that “We believe in God the FATHER, maker of heaven and earth of all that is SEEN and UNSEEN.” God is God of both the seen and unseen. For many years in my life I thought that the unseen was heaven which one day once I die I will experience, but until then I have to put up with and live in this seen world where things are mean, ugly and oppressive.  But the more I read the Word of God the more I begin to see all throughout salvation history men and women stepped out of their earthly existence into the the realm of the Kingdom where all things became possible. Some examples are  Noah, David when he met Golith on the battlefield, Gideon, Samson, the armies of Israel when they went up against Jericho and yelled at 13′ thick walls and they came down, Daniel in the Lions Den, the Threee Hebrew men thrown in the fiery furnace, Peter walking on the water Ect. Ect. Ect.  I began to see that everything changed in this tangible world when God Spoke, WOW, when God speaks throughout salvation history it had the Power and Substance to create the things God Said.  this excited me on many levels, first, I began to see when Gods speaks it is an eternal word, what I mean is that when God speaks it is not just for the moment in time He spoke, but is creative for all generations, giving substance and power to create and fulfill Yesterday Today and Forever. Also I realized that if I can find a promise and or oath that God has made since it has eternal properties and because Jesus is the Same yesterday, today and forever (Heb 13:8)  I can reach up into the Unseen and grab these eternal promise’s and pull them down into my day, in the realm of my time here on the Earth, praise God. This might seem incredible but God is not just the God of yesterday, or just the God of Tomorrow, but since God is outside of time he is a God of today of  RIGHT NOW! God loves my NOW, He sets me free NOW, He becomes real to me NOW, He wants to fellowship and spend time with me NOW, He wants me to come to Him and cast my cares upon Him NOW.  Everything God has said in eternity is for all generations, Gods word crosses all generations it does not cease upon the death of the prior generation, God’s word continues to Have LIFE from generation to generation and is available to each.  This is really had to put into words. So today as I read about Jesus healing people, providing food for the 4000 and the 5000, forgiving, setting free those who were oppressed of the devil, I reach up into eternity were Jesus is seated at the right hand of the Father and by faith grab onto the hem of His garment believing in the fact that Jesus is the SAME YESTERDAY, TODAY, AND FOREVER (Heb 13:8)

I am learning that to be established in God is so much more then living a good moral life, even though living a good moral life is a huge part of it.  I am finding that there is so much more to God’s dominion then what we can see.  The Kingdom of God ( the realm of the Spirit) includes both the seen and the unseen worlds, we are familiar with the seen world but many are blind (no pun intended) to the Unseen world, this world is were God, Jesus, the angels, demons, heaven, hell, Ect. exist it is a real place, and the earth and the seen universe is a very small part of Gods created Kingdom. If this is so what does all of this have to do with me, Much I believe, God has created us not only human beings but He has created us Spiritual Beings as well, the part of us that is created in His image and likeness is our Inner person our Spirits which has the ability to come in contact with the unseen world of the Kingdom, or as the scriptures call it the realm of the Spirit. Our recreated converted hearts is like a radio receiver which is able to pick up the frequency of the Holy Spirit which will enable us to Hear CLEARLY the voice of the Shepard as He helps us navagate in our natural human manner of life here in the seen world.  To be established to me begins with being  in-tuned and anchored in hearing the Voice of God that as John 10:4-5 says we will know His voice and BY NO MEANS FOLLOW A STRANGER BUT FLEE FROM HIM.  This is the potential of our Christian existence to be able to tap into the unseen and apply what we hear and see so we can live a God filled life here in the Seen.  As the Apostle Paul says in Gal 5:16 Walk in the Spirit (unseen) so you SHALL NOT fulfill the lusts of the Flesh (Seen), our ability to not fulfill the lusts of the flesh is dependant upon our ability to be able to walk in the Spirit. Wow, if this is so then I better begin to understand what it really means to walk in the Spirit, for the very thing that I felt I had no control over (fulfilling the lusts of the flesh)  Paul tells us here in Galatians we do have control over it, and that control is found in our ability to be able to Walk in the Spirit.

Here we are 2010, I have such hope for this year, when many are under the burden of life I am more and more convinced that the quality of Life is determined by what I choose to spend my time looking at. In proverbs it states “as a man thinks in his heart so is he- prov 23:7″ , and also in proverbs 3:6    ”In all your ways acknowledge Me and I WILL DIRECT your paths” Wow as I acknowledge God in even the minor affairs of life I can have an expectation of God himself directing my every path. That is staggering to me, that the God of the universe is willing and waiting to direct me. I have wasted so much time in the past tyring to figure out life, my ministry, my purpose, and afterwards asking God to bless it when I could have asked and allowed wisdom to direct my every path.  Some might say “How do you do this?  How does God direct? I pray and it seems as if I am speaking into the air, what does this look like so I can find my path to the heart of the Farther?  To begin to answer these questions, one must have a personal relationship with the Father, and the only way this can occur is accepting His son Jesus as your Lord and savior. If you have not done so, Stop right now, understand that the creator of all things, God, has sent His Son to die on a cross and pay the penalty  for all the bad and sinful things you have done, if you can understand this, That God has done this for YOU, stop know and say, “I thank you God creator of both heaven and Earth for loving me to t he extent that you have sent Your son Jesus to die for me, and pay the penility for all my sins  so I do not have to,  that you raised Jesus from the dead so I may have eternal life here now and in eternity to come, Thank you that I can now call you my Father.” Now that you have become a Child of God and a member of  His household, we have the Spirit to bear witness to our Spirits that we are Children, Rom 8:16. Our Inward man the new man, our Spirit, is like a radio receiver which is able to pick up the frequency of the Holy Spirit. This is incredible, that the Spirit of God can now bear witness to my Spirit, a Divine communication between The Spirit of God and My Spirit can now take place. In 1 Cor 2:6-12  we see that their are things that our eye has not seen or ear heard concerning the things God has prepared for us who love Him, BUTTTTT He has given us His Spirit to reveal them to us, reveal to us the deep and intimate things in God’s heart, I don’t know about you but I want this, I need to hear and know those things that have been freely given to my by God.  In the Gospel of John chapter 14, Jesus tells us that He is the Good Shepard and the SHEEP HEAR HIS VOICE, and will not follow a stranger, wow we have the potential to be able to hear His voiced so clearly that we will be able to discern between His voice and a strangers voice, If  Jesus said this then it must be possible to achieve, so my quest each day is to hear Him more clearly.

In these times of uncertianty there is one thing that remains the same, does not change, or is influenced by the times and seasons of life and that is Gods Word. This, as it has always been throughout the generations is the only sure thing in human life.  So if Gods word is unchanging and has the power to create everything it promises and is guaranteed by God himself, why do we look to anything else. As I personally mature in the things of God, I am becomming exceedingly convinced that life needs to be lived more in the unseen then the seen. What I mean is that as Gods declares eternal realities which cannot change and must come to past we need to make a decision of our wills to believe in what Gods says then what we see, feel, hear, or think.  This leaves us living much of our lives in the inner man, the hidden man of the heart,  feeding on eternal realities, Gods declaration given in His word.  This seems so obvious on the surface, but usually is the very things our outer man (Our Flesh)  resists  the most.  Gods word speaks much on the battle between the flesh and the Spirit, or better said, the battle between the Outer and Inner man. I have spoken much about this topic over the years mainly because I have had many battles which God has proven time and time again faithful to His Word .  There comes a time in each believers life were he  or she must choose to move on with God,  letting all the chips fall were they may in response to His prompting, revelations, and divine declarations. We must not let the thought of being balanced change the truths revealed in Gods Word,  what does being balanced really mean anyway, being half Godly and half worldly?  The very thing that steals our faith once God has sown truth into our hearts is our attempt to lower the supernatural nature of the revelation to the natural state of being. God says things for the intent to give a supernatural dimension to our natural life, to enable us to experience our eternal life (God kind of Life) here in this manner of life.  We need to read Gods word through the glasses of living in two worlds, we are members of eternity the Kingdom of God and residence of the realm of time here on Earth. Every word that God speaks is a covenant statement which applies to both worlds we walk in. What I am trying to say is that when God speaks He is not only trying to raise the level of natural human life getting us closer to human excellence, but He is trying to get us to a place that goes far beyond what natural humans can do. God is attempting to build into us the revelation of what you, this new creation in Christ is now capable of, which goes far beyond being a perfect natural human being, it is living in the supernatural, and allowing that part of our new nature to impact, influence, invade, infect, change, elevate, our natural human existence. So I choose this day to live out loud, to allow my supernatural side to influence my natural side, to begin to let loose the eternal life (God kind of Life) that has been given to me by Jesus, to change my natural manner of life so I can experience pieces of heaven here on Earth.

The Gospel of Jesus Christ can also be translated the Gospel of Light and Power. I am sensing more and more that our Christian existence, the reason we exist,  is for those who are lost and in the darkness of this life. Darkness in itself has no power, but it does have the ability to keep us from seeing truth (light) which once know has the power to set free, so darkness in the eyes of a unbeliever has the ability to keep the power thats in the God’s Word from being seen and in turn being released. The Spirit of God speaking through Hosea says so clearly Hos 4:6 ” My people are destroyed for lack of Knowledge” (Light). Wow, that sounds bleak, but nooooo this is were we come in, we have the Gospel, the Truth which brings with it light and  Power to change lives, the devil, demons, darkness, have no response to a believer releasing light and power as he speaks the truth that is contained in the Gospel. Rom 1:16 is so comforting to me “I am not ashamed of the GOSPEL OF CHRIST for its the POWER OF GOD to SALVATION (Wholeness Spirit, Soul, and Body) to EVERYONE (Praise God ) who believes. If this is so why are we so reluctant to release the Power of God that will destroy darkness in people’s lives through our sharing the gospel ?  I don’t have an answer to this question.

The devil and all his cohorts cannot stop the weakest person under his control, (an unbeliever) from coming out of darkness and entering into God marvelous light once he hears, chooses to receive the Gospel, and calls upon the name of the Lord. The devils only play is to as St. Paul reveals in 2Cor 4:4  Blind the minds of those who do not believe lest the light of the gospel should shine upon them, So what is the problem, I have the Gospel the power of God which brings light, the devil cannot stop the manifestation of conversion, so why are we so hesitant to do the obvious.  I am seeing more and more in my own life that until I come to the realization that the REASON I EXIST ( which is to destroy the works of the devil) every moment of every day by bringing and releasing the light contained in the Gospel of Jesus Christ, I hide it by putting under the bushel basket. OK, I am beginning to catch up with God on this, but now I have to move, I have to act, and let  people hear the Greatness of our Father that is contained in the Gospel, which once received will release Light and Power into their lives.  So I am adjusting my motivations, in addition to trying my best to be a good example to all , I am going to begin again to give away that which I freely received, the most precious thing I have in my possession, the only thing that will have any eternal value for myself, my family and the generation after me,  the thing which has supernatural power to bring heaven here to earth, that conatins the very presence and essence of the unseen Father, the Son Himself, “THE WORDS OF GOD”

Hello all, another day of opportunity to be active in eternal life. I am often misunderstood when I talk about eternal life,  eternal life begins at our conversion and is not just a higher level of natural manner of life,  it’s stepping into the God Kind of Life( Zoe in the Greek). This new type of Life gives us the potential to live the Life that exists were God is  in heaven and allows us to experiance this new type of high life here in this manner of human life. There are so many things we experience in this manner of life which does not exist in Eternal Life were God is, death, sickness, dispare, loneliness, bitterness, fear, sorrow, to name a few. When Jesus came to Give LIFE and give LIFE more abundantly He was giving us His Life, Eternal Life. Eternal Life is so much more then just living forever, as John puts it in the Gospel of John (Jn 17:3) ”This is eternal life TO KNOW YOU (this is a intimate word like when Adam Knew Eve) the only true God and His son Jesus Christ whom you have sent”. Not just to know about Him, but to Know Him intimately, deeply like a husband knows his wife. For us to do this we have to allow our definition of Life to go far beyond this natural manner of life were evil exists and allow our spirits to reach into the eternal life of God were He resides. To do this we have to overcome a problem, we have to as St. Paul’s reveals in Col 3:1-set our minds on things above were Christ is sitting NOT ON THINGS OF THE EARTH, wow that means that I can no longer see myself as one enduring the trials of this life waiting for the good old bye and bye where I will some day receive my eternal Glory. NO, NO, I must begin to enter into and have an expectation to experiance  my eternal Life which Jesus has given to me in abundance here in this manner of Life were things are ugly, mean, and unpredictable . What we are called as christians to transfer to humanity is the Gospel which brings with it once received ETERNAL LIFE, We are not offering a higher type of natural manner of life, but we are offering people to come and accept The Eternal Life of God, the kind of life which brings with it all that heaven has to offer. I am so encouraged today to know that the eternal life placed in me has the ability to give to me everything that this manner of life cannot, isn’t that the Gospel Message after all?

Life is beginning to take on a new dimension for me, I sense we are beginning to see what Jesus called  the Kingdom of God here on Earth. As Jesus taught us to pray “Thy Kingdom Come Thy Will be done ON EARTH as it is in HEAVEN”. I cannot put my spiritual finger on it, but more and more I am sensing the closeness of the Kingdom as I am involved in normal everyday natural life functions. Can it be that God wants to change what is ordinary. I have known that God wants to invade the ordinary course of life, but can it be that He wants to redefine what is ordinary. As I live my natural life, and purpose myself to step into my supernatural life, can it be that God is trying to show me that they are one, that my natural life is just a extension of something bigger which is my Eternal Life, I am just thinking out loud.  The more I allow the Spirit to take hold of my imagination the more I see that the lines between heaven and earth become blurred.  I have become like a little boy again, discovering the spiritural world around me for the first time, it is so exciting.  As I pray, worship, and just spend time with the Lord I am beginning to allow my expectation to wonder, not putting limits on what I expect to encounter in those times. I am beginning to allow the Spirit to bring me to the place HE WANTS to bring me in our time together. It is so sweet,  I am finding a friend, not just a God,  A partner who just wants us to be together, not a  master who is looking for me to perform tasks for Him. I am finding He wants to take me places I have never been before, He delights in seeing my expression when He shows me things that astound me, He takes great Joy in My Joy.  I think I am finding what David spoke about in the 91:1 Psm, “The secret place of the Most High”
